1. Think about the kinds of things you are investing your life in. Are they for God’s glory or for self-gratification?
2. Hannah was a “shrewd investor†in life. In what areas of her life was this true? In what areas of life could you be considered a “shrewd investor�
3. We may conclude that Elkanah inadvertently contributed to some of the difficulties and hardship that Hannah faced (v4-6). What can we learn from Elkanah’s actions?
4. Hannah’s life was characterised by amazing faith. What evidence is there in the story to support this statement and what can learn?
