Facets of Grace

Grace - Ephesians 2:1-10 - Jason Hoet

Series: Grace
Passage: Ephesians 2:1-10
Speaker: Jason Hoet
Date:20 Nov 2005

Read passage.

Introduction
He walks into the room and pull out the X-Ray. It is not good news & you can read it on his face.
"What's wrong with me Doctor?"
You haven't been feeling well. In fact it's got progressively worse. First a niggling feeling & you thought it would go away with some rest & but now almost unbearable pain. Nothing you do seems to help.

The Doctor holds the X ray up and says:
"It's cancer & if we don't deal with this you will die."

GRACE

We commence, tonight, a new series on GRACE. I came to realise why Neil suggested I begin this series when I discovered the first reference to 'grace' in the New Revised Standard Version is:

 Psalms 45:2

You are the most handsome of men; grace is poured upon your lips; therefore God has blessed you for ever.

Let us pray:

For what we are about to receive, may the Lord make us truly thankful.
