Comments:Hi Phil It is Athalie McArdle (Slape, Mary-Ann and Tom's youngest daughter). I am emailing to ask you some questions about a possible school mission trip. i am a teacher at Unity Lutheran College in Murray Bridge and we are looking at starting a mission trip for our Senior students next year. The plan is to get about 15 students (mainly from Year 10 and 11) to funderaise some money and head out on approximately 10 day mission trip in July next year to help build houses, work in a school, help in a community etc. i guess I am asking if you know of any communities we would be able to contact or projects we could link up with in PNG (not sure if we might stay within Australia or Overseas yet)? It is in the initial stages of planning so trying to put together some ideas and was wondering if you had any suggestions. Hope all is well, look forward to hearing from you Athalie McArdle

Comments:Hello Phil & Lesli, I enjoyed getting a message from you. It is more personal than only the prayer schedule Regarding help from the Baptists: for HIV & drugs classes contact Michael Pagasa the HIV Team Manager on 542 2253 or at bupnghivaids@global.net.pg Training on work & employment is a big ask. Ms Esther Nokolu is their Community Development Manager on 542 3726 or at bupngcomdev@global.net.pg But they do have courses on relationships and communty leadership and governance which they have trained some ECPNG Hoghlands pastors and womens' leaders to deliver. Esther may be able to identify people from around Tari who could come down to your region to run seminars The patrols did give you lots of information and some encouragement. Feedback like that is a sign that you hadn impac t in both the rural villages & the little towns As far as I know the Tekin Baptsit Association are running a Bible School there in Oksapmin Sub District of Telefomin. The other BUPNG Bible School has closed altho' Robert Wee occasionally runs block courses for pastors in the Enga and Highlands Baptist Unions The Lord is with you Ben Heyward

Comments:Hi Townsends. Put this email away because we are going to PNG soon and thought we may get a chance to visit you. The travel people are warning people not to go to the the highlands. So, we are not going. We have to go to Madang. Maybe next time we will get to the mountains. Philip, did you Dad and Mum work with Campaigners in PNG? What was his name? Greetings Kim

Comments:This site is a fantastic initiative! Well done. I am pleased to read your guest book and read from persons I have heard about in my youth. I am from Samberigi in the Southern Highlands of PNG. My father is one of the first pastors with the APCM and later the ECP. I am now the principal legal counsel to the Ombudsman Commission of PNG, a govt agency at the forefront in anti-corruption efforts. I owe my success to God Almighty. I am trying to contact early APCM pioneers who were at Erave, S.H.P. in the 1960s. Pls help. Nemo Y. Yalo
