BAPTIST CARE is NOW National

Alice YoungFrontPage, News, Pastor

Did you know this year Baptist Care SA merged to join with other states to become a national entity? This, in the short term, financially secures Baptist Care’s work in our state. Longer term it is hoped it will expand the impact of this Baptist ministry across our nation.

Through August our churches are encouraged to consider, support and pray for the work of Baptist Care. That is why this Friday night we are collecting Hope Hampers and our youth are combining with other youth groups for Dare2Care’, discovering more about the Westcare Centre.

Baptist Care continues to need our financial, resource and prayer support. Through their work, there are incredible efforts being made with some our most vulnerable Australians. As a church, we want to partner with Baptist Care in this work. They work on our behalf, bringing support and hope. For this we are grateful.

If you have 3 minutes, take time to watch this video from Charles Moore, CEO of the new national Baptist care entity. If you have more time, why not peruse the Baptist Care website to see what they do. If you would like to support this ministry financially go to their donate page.

In Him,

Jason
