Who do you invite to church and our events? We want to encourage you to invite your friends and family to our opportunities. Alpha has this wonderful idea which can help: have 3 by 3 invitations. Invite 3 people who will probably say yes, 3 people who might say yes, and 3 people who will probably say no.

Its easy to remember, and stretches us to invite people we don’t expect to come.

This weekend we have our Christmas Street Party. This is an excellent event for people of all ages. Who could you invite with a no-pressure, personal message? Here are example text messages.

• Hi! Our church has a Christmas concert on Sunday. Would you like to come with me? It’s starts at 6 for food, and the concert is at 7.30pm. Happy to pick you up.
• Hi! Our church has a Christmas kids event on Sunday. Would you be interested? It’s starts at 5 and has a bouncy castle 🙂. We will be there.

• 5pm start | Kids Christmas Special: Kids (tots – 10ish) will enjoy fun Christmas songs, story, bouncy castle, face painting, crafts and games
• 6 – 7pm | Street Party: Fun for all: bouncy castle, face painting, delicious food, bbq, coffee cart, carnival games, and more!
• 7:30 – 9pm | Carols Concert: Hear wonderful music celebrating the meaning of Christmas that comes through the gift of Jesus.
