What Are You Hungry For This Year?

BronwynEvents, FrontPage, News, Pastor

What are you spiritually hungry for this year? Recently, our 5:30 PM youth and young adults service explored this theme: Hungry for God. If you missed it, you missed an extraordinary night. (The next 5:30 PM service is on the first Sunday of the month—Feb 1.)

Here’s the challenge: physical hunger demands attention. Spiritual hunger can be ignored. But when people hunger for God, amazing things happen. Hunger moves us to pray. Hunger drives us to love God more. Hunger grows us. And here’s the truth: God loves to feed hungry hearts:

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.” (Matthew 5:6)

A key church theme for 2026 is “Give it a go.” We are encouraging people to step out and serve God. But that message comes second to a richer priority: love God more, to serve God best. Hungry people in love with God “give it a go.”

This year, we’ll see plenty of chances to do that. Growth Groups will relaunch. Kids COACH mentoring begins in schools. Partnerships will expand. New people will walk through our doors. We are surrounded by kingdom opportunities. Every one is a chance for God to use you.

But first—be hungry for God. He is worthy of your love. Love Him more and more. And as you do, He will work in you to give it a go.

In Him,

Jason
