"making Jesus' last words our first priority"
We firmly believe God loves our whole world. Every person in every place! As a local church we join with God in his global work when we support missionaries and agencies that help people follow Jesus.
May is a significant time in Australian Baptist Churches to focus on Global mission. Today 42% of the world’s people still live in people-groups are “least-reached.” That means that there are significant social and cultural boundaries to be crossed if we are to be able to share the Good News of Jesus with them.
We partner in Global Mission in three ways
Partner financially with our mission partners and projects . This year we are supporting a project with Open Doors Australia - an organisation which supports the persecuted church globally.
Our church financially supports the Ames Family, Hoa Stone and the Cambodian Global Interaction Team
Bringing together people who are passionate about Global Missions so we can support, advocate and increase our Church’s partnerships.
Owen & Sarah Ames
Owen and Sarah are members of our church and have 3 Children – Rachel, Jessica and Joshua. They served in Japan as missionaries with TEAM from 2004 until 2016.
After serving with TEAM in Japan for over 12 years, the Ames family moved back to Australia. Sarah serves in our church as our Pastoral and Community worker and also teaches Japanese in a local High School.

These workers serve in a wide range of ways including Church Planting, Evangelism, Discipleship, Medical Ministry, Orphan ministry, working with Women at risk and doing Business as Mission.
