To support musicians who wish to utilise this technology you will need the following software.
- Dropbox (Basic) access to download music sheets/chord charts and setlists/playlists for apps
- Music Score Reader for musicians who prefer Notation Sheet Music
- ChordPro Readers for musicians who prefer Chord Charts

Ipad
To view a range of alternatives options search for iPad apps which can read either PDF scores or Chord Pro charts. Information pages like this or this can help.
- “piaScore” – (free) Music Score Reader. For convenience, a Set List (PlayList) including the Song Order and Sheets will be made available

- PDF Reader (Acrobat) (free). You download the Score PDF files individually and upload into the PDF reader. This can be cumbersome.
Android
- SongBook Chordpro – This is a low-cost app. This Chord chart reader syncs with iOs and Android (surprisingly). This means you can use the Set List (PlayList) required for the iOs app.
- MobileSheets – Music Score & Chord Chart reader. The free version only caters for 8 songs – which is fine for a single service. Purchase the Pro version, if you want it to store more. This great reader can work with either PDF Sheet Music or ChordPro Charts.

Option A Import Songs & Set List from DropBox
Each week the SongBook DropBox folder will include the Song & SetList files for piaScore and SongBook ChordPro. PDF Music Score sheets for that week will also be included.
piaScore
- From piaScore, select Download –> DropBox –> Songbook (folder))
- select the relevant “Filename.
pssl ” file ie “20180916AM.pssl” to download the Music Score and SetList - You should now have the relevant songs and set list imported.
SongBook
(There is some setup to arrange DropBox file syncing. This can be found in ‘settings’. To get started and access, speak with Jason)
- For iPads open DropBox and the SongBook folder (this refreshes the files onto your iPad)
- In
SongBook App sync with DropBox (this updates Song and Service Songs) - You should now have the Setlist and songs imported.
MobileSheets
(If you have the free version you will need to delete any ‘old’ songs)
- Open MobileSheets and select ‘Import’ from DropBox
- Navigate to the SongBook folder
- Download the relevant file ‘Filename-Lead.msf’ or ‘Filename-Chart.msf’ ie 20180916AM-Lead.msf
- You should now have the correct songs and setlist imported.
Option B Create Your own Set Lists
While all the necessary files can be downloaded from Elvanto, the Song and Set List files for a service can also be accessed via DropBox. These files can be helpful for people using alternative apps to that recommended. (ie forScore). Also, SongBook ChordPro works best with the DropBox sync setup.
The files for the current week are uploaded into the DropBox folder. These include:
- PDF Notation Sheet Music – hopefully in the correct key.
- ChordPro Charts – this format suits vocalists and guitarists and can be transposed in apps. Easy.
- SetList files for piaScore, SongBook ChordPro, MobileSheets
