We partner with organisations to achieve more than we could by ourselves. Through May and June, we heard from 4 ministries and had special giving appeals for their work.  

Sarah from Open Doors told us about their work in supporting persecuted Christians. Nigel and our young adults spoke about Encounter Youth’s work at Schoolies, Hindley Street, high schools and now Japan. Richard and Craig updated us on how Engage Work Faith helps us share faith in our workplaces. Phil from Baptist Care SA spoke to the issue of homelessness and how we can make a difference. 

This is a wonderful range of opportunities. Engage Work Faith and Encounter Youth help our local church ministry. Our people benefit and volunteer with their work. Open Doors and Baptist Care SA extend beyond our church to places we are not directly connected. 

Over this time we raised a total of $4495.
