The SA Church Basketball season has come to the finals run. Here is an update from Peter B for last weekend. 

“Congratulations to our ladies for winning last Saturday to progress straight through to their Grand Final.  The team played so well.  It was a magnificent effort given they had not beaten their opposition all year – well done ladies.   Unfortunately, our men’s teams did not fare as well, all losing in close tussles.  Both our Men’s Gold and White teams will activate their double chance and play off in the Semi-finals this Saturday (13 September). 

Commiserations to our Men’s Navy team whilst having a great second-half missed out by just one point.  Unfortunately, they don’t have a double chance and therefore won’t progress further.  Both of our Under/16’s teams and our U/12’s team have made it through to the Semi-Finals and will also play this weekend.” 

Check out the link for game times this weekend. The Grand final weekend will be Saturday 20 September. We’d love to have our church come and cheer for our teams!. Our basketball club end of season break up is on Sunday 21 September, 2:30pm – 4:30pm at Unley Park Baptist.
